His latest part is to star in the launch of Brute Tough, a new range of cordless power tools from Bosch that gives heavy-duty quality with a powerful 18-volt output. The drill driver and impact drill in the 18V brute tough range are designed to withstand a very tough life on site. The in-line uni body motor system does not require the housing to hold it together as with most cordless drills, which are slotted and held in place within sections of the standard clamshell housing. The new Bosch innovative dura-shield (PA-ABS) resilient motor housing (drill body) is the drill body with bounce. It can still tackle any job even after being dropped from more than 2 metres.

Furthermore Bosch has replaced the older can motors with the new high performance Bosch built motor. A new 48mm motor with rare earth magnet technology and externally replaceable brushes - it forms one of the most power efficient drive trains ever fitted into a cordless power tool housing.

The 18V Brute Tough family boasts bare bones tools and combo kits, such as the Saw Brute featuring a drill-driver and a circular saw, the All Purpose Brute featuring an impact drill and a Sabre Saw, and the Big Brute, a five piece combi kit featuring a  impact drill, jigsaw, circular saw, sabre saw and torch. The 18V Brute Tough family completes the cordless range for Bosch, sitting conveniently between the 14.4v Compact Tough system and 24v Max Power system.
